As if it wasn’t bad enough already for me, being in Iraq when this went down. I’m just glad I got to call in to the KTLK show from my base in Balad and get on air with Marc and Jim. It made the the year away from my family, having mortar rounds and rockets regularly fired at me, worth it once I got to tell Jim that I loved him in Pootie Tang.
Not Jim’s best work, videographically speaking (have I seen anything else?), but a tremendous snippet of the end of an era, and for that, a grateful nation thanks you!
